Court safety

Your safety and enjoyment are important to us. Please read and follow the guidance below before entering or playing on the courts.

NEW PLAYERS

If you are new to padel, please familiarise yourself with the rules and safety guidance or attend an introductory session before playing.

PADEL WRIST CORDS

Padel rackets must be fitted with a wrist cord and worn at all times while on court. This is for the safety of players and spectators.

SUPERVISE CHILDREN

Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

NO LOOSE PADEL BALLS

Remove all loose balls from the playing surface and rear of the court to reduce the risk of slips and ankle injuries.

COURT WALLS, GLASS & FENCING

Be aware of the location of court walls, glass and fencing at all times. Avoid running into the walls, glass or fences. If any court glass is damaged or broken, stop play immediately and notify staff.

DO NOT CLIMB

Do not climb on court fencing, net posts, or surrounding structures, inside or outside of the courts.

SUITABLE FOOTWEAR

Only tennis or padel-specific footwear is permitted on the courts. Incorrect footwear increases the risk of injury.

MIND THE STEP

Please take care when entering and exiting courts. Be aware of the net structures, steps, ramps, and changes in surface level.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

Do not play during lightning or thunderstorms, high winds that affect safety, or when conditions are deemed unsafe. Playtime Padel reserves the right to suspend or stop play if conditions pose a safety risk.

EMERGENCIES

In the event of an emergency, contact site staff immediately or call emergency services.
